Cakes And Wine

Lots of Cakes and Glasses of Wine

I went straight to a photo studio for our new products.
It is always fun to see how they set up and are taken pictures.

After the photographs, I went to an airport to take a flight to Tokyo.
Again, I have a business trip to Tokyo.
I went to Tokyo office to meet someone and do some paper work.
And, here it comes, I had to go to see a lady who gave us claim.
I got really scared to see the actual person.
I visited her apt, but she was not there, and could not see her.
I got disappointed, but at the same time, I got relieved a little bit.
I left a gift and a note to her.
Hope she would forgive us...

After the visit, I went to a meeting to discuss about current food industry.
It was my first time to join this meeting.
It was interesting...
The topic today was "Christmas Cakes".
This is $150.00 US cake!

I did not have time to have lunch so I was so hungry, but the only meal I could get at this metting was appetizer, and after the little meal, we just had so many kinds of cakes and so many glasses of red and white wine.

Macarons was this year's trend, but I don't like them...

This was my favorite.
It was so delicious, so I had two pieces!
But I was so full...

Berry tart is always popular.

These are cakes which are made without flour and eggs for people who has allergy.

Okay, by the time I had this, I was so full and drunk...

Too many Christmas cakes.
I had good red wine but drinking with cakes is pretty tough...

This meeting was finished at 10PM.
I took a cab to a private bar.
I was invited to a party for a year‐end party.
I met lots of new people there too but also I could see many of my favorite people who met this year.
I had a couple more glasses of wine there and left at midnight.
I did not have enough energy to be there till it ends.
Merry Christmas...

Coincidence

What A Coincidence!

Today, I woke up and I went to a seminar about Snoopy.
I was late since I misestimate the time.
What bad businesswoman…
The seminar was mainly for designers who arrange snoopy picture to use for their own packages or items.
Therefore, it was lectured by a designer and lectured all about fashion trend in 2009.
It was sooooo boring.
So many technical words for fashion and I had no idea…

I had business lunch, and after that, I had a little meeting at café.
Since that was a casual meeting with my boss, I had parfait, my favorite desert.
Since it was a parfait at a tearoom attached to a fruit store, it was different.
More delicious than any other parfaits I had.
Since the meeting was over quicker than I though, I went to the airport at 4:45.
I supposed to take 6 PM flight, but could change to 5PM flight.

I called my mom soon after I got off the airplane, and got to know that my dad was at the airport too.
So I called my dad and went to restaurant to meet up to my mom.
It was such coincident that my dad took the same flight with me on the same day.
I had not talked with my dad for a long time, so it was a nice conscience.
He was excited to see me and talked a lot about work.
He said, “it was so nice to have you at dinner tonight. Sooo nice to see you tonight.”
I was so surprised to hear that, since he has not said such a thing for years!!
We had Okonomiyaki and icecream.

Oveall, it was a nice day.
I could go home early enough and could get relaxed!

Tokyo Again

Tokyo Again, Damn It!!

I went to work to my Osaka office to take care of my assistants.
Had a meeting for my project.
This is Organic Roll-cake (Swiss Roll) with black beans for human beings and dogs to eat together.
Still arguing if this is good enough for new item.
Anyway had a meeting in Osaka and had work a bit at Osaka office.

I had to take 2PM flight for Tokyo, but since the meeting was too long, so I missed it.
So took 3PM flight and went to Tokyo office.
One of the reasons why I went to Tokyo tonight was to see my friend who works for Accenture, Consultant Company.
I have known her since I went to University of Denver.
It had been a while since the last time I saw her, but she could not make it.
So I worked till late at Tokyo office and went to drink with co-workers of Tokyo Sales Department.
It was nice to go out to drink some of them.

Stayed at small hotel room.
I hate sleeping on a hard small bed.
I wish I could sleep on my bed tonight.
That’s the only reason why I hate to come to Tokyo on business this often…

What A Big Day!

Cry and Laugh

I went to work at Tokyo office today.
When I happened to see my old classmate from college at my friend’s meeting, we scheduled to see each other again in Tokyo.
His dad died when he was college and now his mom is running business.
He is taking over the family business, and I thought we have similarities.
We had lunch and talked for c couple hours.
He was not a smart guy but really really nice and kind but quiet guy.
We barely talked each other since we take almost all the same classes.
It has been like 8 years since the last time we hang out but we decided to hang out more from now on.
I thought boys change dramatically by their job!!
After nice chat with my friend, I went to see a famous consultant.
He was really strict and gave me so many advices to me.
I shouldn’t have, but I cried in front of him.
I was scared, and I got shocked and, and , and… I just could not help crying.
I have no longer have a people who tell me the truth or strict thing to me.
Very spoiled only because I am a daughter of CEO.
Probably I cried because I was happy to meet unusual business person who gave me honest opinion face to face.
I really appreciate him now.

This is a party I went tonight.
A birthday party for a guy who takes care of me really well lately, and also one more guy who is CEO of a fashion brand, who is on the picture above.
The guy on the left is a famous guy in music world.
I would say all Japanese know him.
It was a crazy party.
Lots of model, Miss Universe, Miss something, and so on.
I felt I was such a short shorty litlle girl.
There were so many celebrities at the party.
Tokyo is crazy, and I can’t believe that my life is getting change like this.

After the party, I went to go out to drink with my friend.
After drinking more, we went to eat Ramen (noodle) at 2 in the morning.
Uhhhh, I shouldn’t…

Ah, it was such a big day!!

Expo in Tokyo and Fun in Gunma

Tokyo and Gunma Trip

I just got back from Tokyo to home yesterday morning, but I left home to Tokyo again early this morning.
It is just one-hour flight from Osaka to Tokyo, but still it is a lot of work for me.
I put all my stuff in a locker at the station in Tokyo.
Since I am not good at remembering which “coin locker” I used, I took a picture to remember where.

I had to help with exhibiting at food expo in Tokyo.
It was actually fun though.
It was hard to stand from 9:00 to 5:30 whole time, but I could talk with many people and fun to sell cakes I produced.
There were not many sales women or talkative girl who has strong Osaka accent, so I became pretty famous at the convention center.
This picture is one of products we exhibited at the expo.
Tarts for Quiche, very good stuff.

After this expo, I took a bullet train to Gunma to see my friend, Ayako.
She is one of my good friends whom I have known since I went to DU.
And this is “Boo”, a pug she has.
What a cute doggie.

Gunma is sort of countryside of Japan, so pretty different from Osaka or Tokyo.
People, landscape, food and culture are different, and it is a part I like to visit there.
Ayako’s family is so nice and warm.
They serve so much food at dinner whenever I visit.
Tonight, Ayako’s brother’s family, Ayako’s friends were there too.
9 of us had dinner all together and it was like a party.
Ah, I ate too much again till midnight.
Uhhhh bad for my health but it was such a nice night.

Women’s Power

Women are strong but scary.

I went to work in Osaka this morning.
I called American Bank Company to fight about my late fee.
Although I explained something was wrong because I have made full payment the last time I paid, they did not admit.
I talked with manager, but nothing changed, so I closed my credit card.
They were really automatic, so the manager explained really fast about what would happen when I close the credit card.
It did not sound that he was human being…
I asked the manager to speak slowly and then he spoke like a robot!!
What a jerk…

I took a flight in this afternoon to Tokyo.
I went to an office about our Organic margarine.
Our organic margarine will be on TV commercial with famous coffee in Japan.
The famous coffee company wanted to use our organic margarine as gifts for their campaign for 400 people.
That’s really good news for us!
After that I went to attend a special dinner for women who manage a company in food industry in Japan.
I was the youngest and I was so nervous when I had to introduce myself in front of 30 people.
Guest speaker was a big star in Japan and Taiwan.
She is an actress and singer, who is a good friend with Jackie Chan.
Too bad that I could not take picture of her.
I was not brave enough to do it because I am the youngest girl there.
I learned a lot from lots of elder women.
It was such a great opportunity for me.

I forgot to bring contact lenses and had to wear these red glasses today.
They might not be appropriate for the business dinner…
These women are smart great people, but some were like high school girls although they were 50s.
Some talked to me and spoke ill of others…
I hope they would not speak ill of me because of these crazy glasses…

This is a view from my hotel tonight.
Nice view, huh?

Cheesecake Meeting

Organic, Cheesecakes And Alcohol

I took a flight to Tokyo and went to Saitama, where is 1 and a half hours away from Tokyo.
Recently I am close to president of an organic products distributing company.
He is from Main in the US.
I have been learning a lot about organic from him.
I like talking with him because we can talk very friendly.
We talk not only about business, but also non-business topics.
The picture above was my lunch at his organic cafe.

After I got back to Tokyo office from Saitama, about 30 or more cheesecakes were waiting for me.
Salesmen at Tokyo branch bought tons of cheesecakes and they wanted me to eat with him to discuss what to be sold.
Eating all these was not easy at all, made me sick.
However, I enjoyed hearing their thoughts about cheesecakes.
We are eating cheesecakes a lot lately because our new products for autumn will be cheesecakes, so we have to learn a lot about cheesecakes.

These are salesmen at Tokyo branch.
We went out to drink.
It was so much fun!!
This picture looks really stupid, though.
We went to Karaoke after this and got soooo drunk…
Always love to hang out with them.
Since all the people at Tokyo branch are nice, I feel comfortable being in Tokyo once a week.
Anyway, but they drink alcohol like monsters…

Hotel Tonight

Recovering

I had such a bad night last nicht, but I got recovered.
Because I have no time to feel down.
I woke up and went to spa before long trips and did laundry and cleaned my room, and did some work.
I took a night flight from Osaka to Tokyo at 7PM.
I had an appointment with a business related person.
I got surprised that she tried to make an appointment with me on Sunday night at 9PM.
We had a short meeting for a convention with a glass of beer.
She is kinda funny lady who does food coordinating, which sounded like an interesting job.
I took a train to this hotel at midnight.
This is a hotel I am going to stay tonight.
Tomorrow will be a preparation day for a convention, which is the biggest food convention in Asia.
I am excited, but I am nervous.
It will be fun though.
I think I should go to bed now…
Ahhhh, I miss my bed.

Lucky Girl

I Am Lucky

First of all this is a picture of a store in Tokyo which I saw the other day during my business trip.
I love lovely stuff recently somehow, maybe because I am getting old.
I love anything cute now.
Of course I did not buy anything here or went inside of this store, but I thought it was really cute.

Today I felt guilty to make a lot of my co-workers stay late at work because of me.
Each of them were waiting to have a meeting with me, but I had so many things and had to make them wait.
After work, I asked one of lady who works at a department where I was at before.
We went to eat dinner together and talked a lot and stayed there till midnight.
I wanted to go home early but somehow I wanted to be with somebody.
I need to do stuff at my apt, and I need to get enough sleep.
However, I chose to be away from my apt tonight.
I love being with somebody.
I also love to be by myslef, but most of the time I wanna be around with people.
We talked a lot and they were interesting conversations.
She is 7 years older than I, but we have lots of similarities.
I am lucky to be able to work with people who are patient with me.
I am lucky to have someone whom I can go out after work.
I am lucky to have a boss who care about my health and canceled Sunday appointment for me.
I have to work tomorrow, but I don't have to go to Tokyo tomorrow night.
I really appreciate to my boss.
I am a lucky girl.

Organic Life

Tasting Organic Life

I could sleep well on both ways between Osaka and Tokyo on a flight.
I went to Tokyo branch in this morning and went to see a person of an organic store to sell our products.
It seems like he got interested in.
After the appointment, I went to a different organic grocery store.
There are more interesting organic stores in Tokyo than in Osaka.
The organic grocery store I went this afternoon has a restaurant.
So I had lunch there, which was buffet.
It tasted pretty good, but $12 for lunch is pretty expensive with these simple buffet menus.
But I thought eating only organic stuff is not a bad idea.

These are organic cakes I got at other oraganic store.
Disgusting!!
They tasted horrible.
When you eat sweets, you can’t think about organic!!
Well, now we are trying to make organic sweets though.
However, we are trying to produce DELICIOUS organic sweets.
That’s why some owners of organic stores got interested in our products.
I ate other normal sweets at café too.
They were horrible too.
Where is the pâtissier’s pride?

I went to sales to one more organic store.
The buyer guy at the store said he was in Germany and Paris for researching organic stuff.
I am going to go to Organic Expo in the US, and now I see many people who goes to expos in other countries.
Talking with them is interesting and I can learn a lot.

I took a flight back home and I could get a rest at my apt.
I was going to go to Tokyo for convention from this Sunday.
However, it seems like I have to go from Saturday night because I got an appointment with other company this Sunday.
I will have a hella long meeting on Saturday and I have to leave to Tokyo on that night.
Wait! When do I have to pack my stuff for Tokyo and America??
Ahhhh, I wanna get a day off, but no time to get a day off…

Fifth Day in Tokyo For Convention

Success Fifth Day

Finally, we accomplish the last day of convention.
I was so moved.
Since I was sick, it was hard for me to keep standing, but since it was extremely busy, so I could bear.
I got 20 mins break and I tried to take a lunch at 2PM.
However, on the way out to the convention center, I realized that all other booths were trying to get rid of all their products, since it was the last day.
So I went back to my booth, and told everyone to get rid of our samples and stuff.
Once we started giving away, there were so many people came to our booth.
Our booth was with snoopy character, so many people got interested in and they want to get snoopy stuff from us.
Anyway, we succeeded our exhibition.
Today we got the most business cards.
People who came to our booth on the first day and second day told their bosses to check out our products.
So we could do business talk with high level position people today most of the time.
I am now so excited.
The convention was closed at 4PM today, and we cleared everything up and left at 5PM.
I thanked all people who helped me to success this convention, and they were also excited like me.
All of us were happy and knew that we did a good job.
Working like this is so great.
We all felt really good after these crazy busy days.
I was about to cry, because I was so moved today.
I am really lucky person who can get theses good companions.

Forth Day in Tokyo For Convention

Better Forth Day

Today, I got such a big bump in my body.
I don’t feel like writing where on this blog, but I never had it before, and it hurts so much.
Maybe because of this first experience.
I am very worried, and I am nervous because I am going to go to Hawaii soon after this convention, so I don’t have time to go to hospital…
I hope this is not anything serious.

Today was the second day of the convention.
An American guy came to me and asked me if I speak English.
He kept telling me that I don’t look like full Japanese.
And he introduced himself and he asked me to give him some brochure.
He was Charles M Schulz’s grandson!!
He said he works for Del Monte, so he was at the convention too.
I was excited, so I talked with him for a while and took a picture.
I thought this is great that I saw his grandson, so I took a picture with him.
However, after we took this picture, he grabbed my butt.
Still I stared at him and I was like “Huh?”
He asked me what I was going to do tonight.
Excuse me??? I am not interested in you old man if you are not Schultz’s grandson!!!
Now I wonder if he was really Shultz’s grandson…
Maaaaan, I was disappointed with this guy who came to Japan from Utah.
I hope I was not deceived, I hope he is still Shultz’s grandson who is such a stupid American who thinks they can get Japanese girl so easily.

Anyway, today, I went to Tokyo branch after convention.
I had to take care of some stuff there.
My boss said he wanted to talk about some plans for the next day.
He took me out for dinner, but we did not talk about serious stuff at all.
My feet weren’t hurt as much as they were last night.
I think I am getting used to.
I did better than yesterday at the convention so I will do much better tomorrow.
Tomorrow will be the last day!
I will definitely get a big business tomorrow!!

Feb 20, 2008

Third Day in Tokyo For Convention

Success Third Day

Ahhhhh, what a hard day!
It was the first convention day today.
The hall was so big, and there were so many booths I wanted to see.
However, I did not have a in to look around.
I am a leader of this convention, so I have to take care of everything.
There are 13 of us, and it was a little hard for me to make sure that everyone is doing all right.
Also there are so many people came to our booth, and of course all of us had to appeal our product to do business soon to make MONEY!

People in Osaka and people in Tokyo got together and we were a great team.
I learned a lot today.
I bet I can do much better tomorrow.

Tonight I took other girl, who works for me, for dinner.
Like the other night to other girl, I talked the same thing to her.
We talked how we will work from now on.
She has lots of ambitious, so I hope she will get a good position in near future.
I am so so so tired, and I can’t walk anymore.
I remember how hard it was to work at the front desk at a hotel by standing whole time.
Today, I stood from 8AM to 7PN straight.
I took 25 lunch break, and that was it.
I don’t complain, cuz I feel good that I did pretty good job today more than I expected.

Feb 19, 2008

Second Day in Tokyo For Convention

Feet Hurt Second Day

We had been pretty busy from early in this morning.
We went to convention center in Tokyo to check out our booth.
Everyone there was trying to get ready, so none of the booth was completed yet.
I remember that I sneaked in preparing convention center in LA because I misunderstood the first day of Natural Expo last year and got so excited.
We brought so much stuff to a convention center and prepared.
Everything did not go well.
I had to ask people who built our booth to fix.
The more I mention the parts to fix, the less I liked the booth.

My feet hurt so much tonight.
Also the convention center was really really cold.
We finished preparing at the convention center for the first day of the convention tomorrow at 8PM.
We went back to our Tokyo branch and everyone who will join the convention got together.
We had a small meeting and went out to drink all together.
13 of us!
It was so much fun.
People who came form Osaka, 6 of us, stay at the same hotel next each other.
This is such a big event.
I was very nervous, but now I am getting just excited.
I hope everyone is too.

We are going to see each other at 7:30 at the lobby.
I should go to bed now.

Feb 18, 2008

First Day in Tokyo For Convention

Gourmet First Day

I took a cab to the airport, and took 7AM flight to Tokyo.
Thank god that I live really close to the airport.
I often miss early flights somehow, because I am not good at getting up early.
Today, I made it!!
I had two assistants for today, but did not have much stuff to ask them to do today…
I felt bad, so I let them go for marketing research in Tokyo.
I myself had lots of stuff to do.
I went for lunch with my favorite colleagues.
He knows lots of good place.
I had curry udon, which was really good.

After we finished preparation, I decided to take a girl who works for me to dinner.
I took her to a nice Italian restaurant.
I wanted to talk with her in person because now I am her new boss, and I thought she has some worries.
I talked with her a lot by eating nice dinner.
This is how they serve Cesar Salad there.
We had ham with fresh melon and mango, and the mongo was the best ever!

We were so hungry and ordered pasta and this fried onion pizza.
Obviously they were too much for two girls.
We had such a good time with nice night sight in Tokyo.
She said she believes in me and will follow me.
I am such a simple person, so her saying encouraged me a lot.
It has been a tough work situation lately, but I got motivated.
I supposed to motivate her, but she motivated me.
Oh well…

24 Hours In Tokyo

Lots Going On In Tokyo
I took an early flight to Tokyo from Osaka.
It was snowing in Osaka but it was clear in Tokyo.
It was just so cold in Tokyo.
I could not sleep on the airplane today somehow, so felt 50 mins flight was long.

I got to Tokyo earlier for an appointment, so I was not thinking hard enough about transportation.
So I took super express train without noticing.
Therefore I had to get off the train at a wrong station which was far far away from the station I had to get off.
Therefore, I was late for the appointment three minutes…
Also after the appointment, when I was on a train, I got confused and was not sure which way I was going.
So I got off the train, and soon realized that I was on the right train.
How silly!
But the good thing is that I saw this quiet area in Tokyo.
Look, there is a horse which is for a horse gambling race in Japan.
I had never seen horse race, and fun to look at this horse which was taking a walk.

I went to Tokyo station to check out chocolates.
Now there are so many interesting chocolates for Valentine’s Day.
And I went to Tokyo branch, and worked a bit.
After work, I went out for dinner with Mr.Yachi who went to MBA school at DU.
I have known him since I went to DU as a college student.
Now he works for one of the famous distribution company.
I wanted to know about importing stuff from abroad.
I was thinking to learn about them, but we ended up talking about totally different thing.
I had not seen him probably too long.

I feel that it was much slower day today compared to my days in Osaka.
I have to go back to Osaka by an early flight again tomorrow.
However, I feel that I could take a little rest with working because of being in Tokyo and being away from my desk.
Okay, now I think I should go to bed in this tiny business hotel room.
In total, I will be staying in Tokyo for 24 hours, such a short trip…

Feb 7, 2008

In A Bullet Train

Busy Tokyo Day

I am writing this entry in a bullet train now on the way back from Tokyo.
It will take 2 and a half hour to go back to Osaka, so I will get there at 23:10.
I was wondering if I should do my work in a bullet train or should take a nap here and do my work at home.
However, once I got in a train, soon I took a nap for an hour and half, so I guess I will have to work at home.
I feel cold now; maybe I caught a cold since yesterday because of the weather in Tokyo.
It was snowing quite much.
Look how many people walking around the train station in this morning.
I left a hotel today to go to our branch office and I took this picture.
I always am amazed by this crowded town.

Today I went to office and did tons paper work that I had to do for a couple of hours.
I did a right choice last night to stay at office late to do my work, because I suddenly had to visit one office by my boss’s order in this morning and did not have much time.
After the visit, I could not find time to take lunch, so I went straight to the next appointment.
It was a studio to finish up a promotion video of our new products.
The studio was pretty cool.
I was there today to direct the narration parts of the video.
The stuff might have felt I was a bitch cuz I gave them so many requests…
What can I say?
Because I can’t be shy about work now.
After the video making, I went back to office and prepared for an orientation.
The orientation was for Tokyo Sales Department to get ready for a convention this month.
I was a bit nervous because I am now the head of the operation of the convention but I had never been a member of any convention as an exhibitor.
After I finished the orientation, I was an observer of another orientation of our normal products.
Normal products are frozen cakes which R&D department produce twice a year for these 30 years.
Since I just moved to R&D department this month, my boss told me to observe for the next time to be able to give a presentation to sales people by myself.
There are so many things I have to study and remember.
It is very hard, but I feel responsible and sometime feel good being this busy.

Oops, I am almost get to Osaka.
Gotta go.

Life in Tokyo

Tokyo Report

I am in Tokyo now.
I stay at a business hotel like usual.
Today I am here for promotion activities.
Went to a couple of magazine publish company.
It was interesting to see their offices.
All the offices were so messy and full of magazines.
I appealed my new products to them.
When I left, all of them gave me their magazines so now I have some magazines which I can enjoy tomorrow in a bullet train for free!
By the way, our new products, were the topic on the top page of Yahoo Japan today.
The reason why I got to know is because I got lots of calls from my office in Osaka saying, “We are getting so much calls and we can’t do our own daily work”.
http://headlines.yahoo.co.jp/hl?a=20080205-00000015-oric-ent
I am so proud!!
I hope I will see a big success soon!

This morning, I took a flight to Tokyo and went to our branch.
For me, coming to Tokyo used to be a little break.
Well, I worked hard outside of our Tokyo branch, but I did not have much stuff to do when I was at the office.
So I used to leave office at 6PM in Tokyo, but today, I could leave at 9PM.
This is how much I am behind now…
I was eating lots of snacks at office while I was working on what I had to do, but decided to eat dinner before I check in the hotel.
My friend Yusuke and I went to TGI Friday’s.
I only ate soup and salad; I did not eat the steak in the picture.
I was sooooo sleepy and when he was blaming on me, I could not concentrate on the conversation.
I felt bad that I was rude, and I regret that I did not straight back to hotel.
TGI Friday’s is the restaurant where I had not eaten at when I lived in the US.
But now I got there sometimes, maybe I sometimes miss American food.
TGI Friday’s is very close to my office, and full of Americans.
I bet lots of Americans feel TGI Friday’s in Tokyo like the way I feel Sushi restaurant in the US.
I can’t wait to go to Hawaii now.
It is coming up soon!

Oh, before I go, I have to mention how much I got surprised about cab in Tokyo.
All the cab are non-smoking now, but not in Osaka.
In Tokyo, you need a special card which you have to apply beforehand.
It must be so much hassle.
Wow, they are working so hard to make all people in Tokyo quit smoking.
Well, I wanna tell them, “Good Luck”.

Lunch Break Is What I Love

Lunch In Tokyo

Today I worked at Tokyo office in this morning.
I was working on a paper work due to tomorrow, which I think I am doing well so far.
For lunch, I made an appointment with my friend.
We went to a restaurant in the closest station from my office, which was on a magazine before.
In Tokyo, the best place to meet up with my friend, is the area of our office.
It is because that our Tokyo office is the office for sales department, so all the workers should not be around the area, but should go to other area to sell our products.
Anyway we had such an expensive lunch, $20US.
Since I started keep my accounts, I think I have been cheap.
Well, I don’t want to spend much money, which is good and bad.
I don’t like to be cheap when I am around my friends.

Lunchtime is such an important time for me.
I enjoy having lunch because it is time that I can relax and refresh myself.
By eating lunch, I get energy.
Although I had this much lunch for today, I had to eat pancakes for work.
It was an interesting menu, pancake with marshmallows.
Got really sleepy after I ate a lot, but I had two appointments; a magazine publish company and a promotion company.
They were quite exciting, but I learned that I have to study harder to talk about our products well.
Since our products will be on a magazine and we will do a lot of promotions for them, recently I have many opportunities to give a presentation of our products.
I have to do it over and over, but I think my presentation is getting boring.
For the first presentation, I try really hard and prepare a lot, but when I repeat the same thing, I am getting lazy.
It is bad…

I came back to Osaka by the latest flight.
I have to write a report about today’s appointments.
Gotta go.

Japanese Business Hotel

This Is Where I Stay

Ahhh, I am drunk.
I did this again…
I wish I were brave enough to day that I can’t drink much.
I am in Tokyo today.
My business partner and I were going to come to Tokyo tomorrow without spending a night here.
However our boss told us to come for meeting this evening.
I still think we could do tomorrow morning, but he ordered us to come, so we worked in Osaka and took a flight to Tokyo for a meeting.
After a meeting, I went out to drink with people of Tokyo branch.
I drunk too much…
I stay at a nice hotel on special occasion, but I usually stay at this small business hotel.
We get paid 8300yen($80US) for hotel per night, but it is hard to find that cheap hotel in Tokyo.
Actually, since I stay this small hotel, but this room is over the budget so I have to pay extra from my pocket money.
Not fair!!!

I would rather sleep at my apt, so I wish I could bring my bed to everywhere…
The reason I hate about Japanese business hotel is the following.
1. Too tiny little room
2. Too thin wall. I even can her snoring of a man who stay at the next room.
3. Too stinky. I hate to wear PJ at hotel, but I have to since I can’t carry much stuff when I am on a business trip.
Compare to Tokyo business trip, business trio on abroad is much better.
I always can get to stay at nice hotel whenever I work in other country.
There is no budget for that, although I care about the expense

Ahhhh, I can’t take a shower tonight, I think I will be pass out now.
I am proud that I wrote this blog tonight...
