Dancing Party
It was a fabulous night!
After work, I was incited to a party as a dancer.
I danced Hula at a bar for unknown people.
I am not a real dancer, so not sure if we were good, but it seems like they enjoyed our dance.
We danced the one we are now practicing for a stage in March.
These are members!
After we danced, everyone danced.
There was a professional social dancer at the party.
Somehow, I danced with the dancer.
I always wanted to learn social dance so I was so happy to dance with him.
During we danced, I shouted to my friend, “I got it!” and dancer guy was laughed.
I guess I did not get it, but I thought I got it.
Well, but enjoying dancing was the best no matter how I dance, right?
After the social dance, Brazilian girls came to the bar to dance!
Samba!!
Oh my, look at her costume!!
Wow...
We all danced Samba with them.
They were there for like 20 minutes, but I wonder how much they get to paid.
They were good by the way of course.
It was my first experience to watch samba right in front of me!
What a night!
It was so much fun.
Now I am ready to learn social dance!
A Man In 2009
I woke up at my sis’s and had breakfast there and watched another “The OC”
I love staying at my sister’s apt.
Her house is very nice to stay, very comfortable.
This is how I look today.
I went to see my friend Shinsuke with Iwasaki-san, who is like my sister.
Shinsuke invited me for dinner to introduce his friend.
We supposed to meet twice last year, but we could not make it both and finally got to see each other.
He used to be a famous American football player and played in the US for three years too.
Now he is a coach for a football team.
He was half Japanese and looked really cute and such a nice guy.
We had such a fun time, so after dinner we all went to my bar, and went to Karaoke till 4 in the morning.
I know that I am not that young to stay up this late, but I did…
I got drunk, had a headache and am sleepy pretty bad.
At the end, he asked me for a date.
I am not sure how much similarities we have, but we’ll see.
Is he the guy??
Well…
A Big Day
Wow… I did a lot today.
Today was a Japanese holiday so I did not have to go to work.
However, I woke up at 7 in this morning, took a shower, put make-up on, and wore suit.
Because I had an interview.
It was on-line interview.
It supposed to be on skype with mike and camera.
So I cleaned my room and made myself look neat.
However, their camera did not work so it was just with sound.
There were two interviewer, one was from main corporate and the other was from Chicago office who was interested in me.
It was my second interview and I was pretty excited but when I heard that the office who would hire me was in Chicago, and which made me get shocked…
So I am not sure if I did well on that interview or not.
They just liked the fact that I take Hula lesson somehow.
I will know the result in a few weeks.
We’ll see.
After the interview, I went to lunch with my best friend from elementary school.
We see each other once a year now, and we report how we have been and also we discuss what we would do till the next time we see each other.
She is a good listener and analyzer so I made myself really clear after I talk with her.
By the way, I felt a little guilty to eat steak for lunch.
But it was soooo damn good!!
After I say bye to my friend, Sakura, I went to down town and did some shopping for holiday gifts.
It is a lot of work to find gifts but I kinda like it.
I got so many bags from shopping.
I also got presents for my Hula friend as Santa!
Oh, I did so many walking…
After shopping, I went to Hula lesson one hour before the lesson starts.
We practice for an event we will attend in January for my friend's favor.
We supposed to practice but we just chat and fooled around.
At lesson I danced pretty hard.
I felt really good.
I love Hula dance.
I will be Hula Instructor when I turn to 70 years old for sure!!
Ahhhh, I did a lot today.
Pretty active, huh?
Hisami and Yu
I slept like a rock for 12 hours today.
I just did not want to get up.
I know that it is bad to sleep like this once a week, but I can't help it.
I got up like at 2 in the afternoon, and went to meet up my friend, Hisami.
We have been friends for 21 years.
Wow, so long!
She got married once and have a cute girl.
We went to buy her present from Santa.
I got something for her too.
So fun to look kid's toys and dresses.
She is now trying to find a guy who wants to get married with her again.
We are the same age but because of her experiences, I feel that she is more mature.
We went shopping and had dinner and drink.
She is a girl whom I see twice a year.
We are good friends, so we don't have to see each other often but whenever we see, we can catch up really quick.
We will see each other in summer next, maybe.
Drinking with Fever
I am sick now.
I have a cold and I have throat ache, stomachache, and nose running.
I was high because of fever and tiredness.
So I finally took a medicine and got a little better.
The reason why I took medicine was because I had to go out with girls from work.
We have girls’ night like four times a year.
Since I usually talk a lot, they expect me and one more girl to entertain the table.
I was really not feeling to, but after I started drinking, I felt better and we had great conversations.
We went to Karaoke after dinner and it was all right.
I was just so tired and sleepy.
I was so ready to go home, cuz it was like 11:30 PM.
But elder lady said she did not drink enough and she feel lonely.
It seems like she have had problems mentally a bit, she came to me this morning and we talked a bit.
I was worried about her, and also I thought it would be rude to say no since she is older than I.
She really wanted to talk about her problems.
I took her to a Jazz bar in my town, since she loves Jazz.
We were there till 3 in the morning.
I am sooooo sleepy now, but writing this with drunk.
I had such a good time at the bar as usual.
I was so happy that she wanted to share her problem with me today.
She said I should tell her my stuff too, but I didn’t.
She kept saying that I am too dry and she wanted to be closer to me mentally.
It is kinda rare to be told that someone wants to be close to me.
I was happy but I was not confident that I would be open to her completely.
She is a nice lady, but I never be able to be close friends with colleagues, somehow.
We talked a lot with other customers at the bar.
It was fun.
But I am sleepy.
I should go to bed now…
I can’t go back to read what I just wrote, because I am soooo sleepy…

Stupid Of Me
Because of a jetlag, I went to bed right after I came back home last night.
All the lights were on, and I slept from 10PM to 5AM this morning.
Yes, I could not go back to sleep since 5 in this morning.
I was lying on a bed and watched TV for a while and tried to sleep.
But couldn’t, so I did my laundry and cleaned my room a bit.
I ate popcorns which I got from the US for breakfast.
In this afternoon, I went to my office to get some work done.
After I finished writing my report about my business trip, I got tired and left although I had more work to do.
BTW, this is my desk now.
How messy it is…
This will be my new desk from next month.
I will get promoted from next month, but will get smaller space!
That does not make sense!!
But that is because my boss will come to my office and will take my desk.
Dang it!!
I don’t want him to come back to my office space!!!! Oh, well.
Anyway, after I left office, I went to my sister’s apt to have dinner with her.
We had not have enough time to spend together, so I was happy that I could go to her place today.
She cooked so many kinds of salad for me.
They were all good!
We had movie night tonight.
We kept watching American dramas from 4:30PM to midnight, nonstop.
We watched them even when we were having dinner.
I was so stupid that I did that.
We were so sleepy and tired, but we could not stop watching them till we finish watching them till we see the end of the series.
On the way back from her apt to my apt, I kinda regret that I stay at her pace too late.
I was about to sleep and drive…
I was up since 5 in this morning.
Well, I should go to bed now and sleep in tomorrow…
I Am Lucky
First of all this is a picture of a store in Tokyo which I saw the other day during my business trip.
I love lovely stuff recently somehow, maybe because I am getting old.
I love anything cute now.
Of course I did not buy anything here or went inside of this store, but I thought it was really cute.
Today I felt guilty to make a lot of my co-workers stay late at work because of me.
Each of them were waiting to have a meeting with me, but I had so many things and had to make them wait.
After work, I asked one of lady who works at a department where I was at before.
We went to eat dinner together and talked a lot and stayed there till midnight.
I wanted to go home early but somehow I wanted to be with somebody.
I need to do stuff at my apt, and I need to get enough sleep.
However, I chose to be away from my apt tonight.
I love being with somebody.
I also love to be by myslef, but most of the time I wanna be around with people.
We talked a lot and they were interesting conversations.
She is 7 years older than I, but we have lots of similarities.
I am lucky to be able to work with people who are patient with me.
I am lucky to have someone whom I can go out after work.
I am lucky to have a boss who care about my health and canceled Sunday appointment for me.
I have to work tomorrow, but I don't have to go to Tokyo tomorrow night.
I really appreciate to my boss.
I am a lucky girl.
Don’t Wanna Go Home
Today, we woke up early and went to “The Original Pancake House” which is my favorite Pancake place in America.
Five of us went to the place and had 5 kinds of panckes.
Of course we got hella full.
So we decided to walk to shopping center and took a walk for an hour.
And we went back to beach and hung out by the beach.
We all bought new bathing suits and we wanted to show off.
We were going to go there only with girls, but of course there were male colleagues around the beach close to our hotel.
So we were kinda embarrassed.
I was the only one who has dark skin, so I got lots of sun tanning.
And we went back to hotel to take a shower, and left to “Cheese Cake Factory”.
Look how messy our table was.
We ate many kinds of cheesecakes like we do at work.
We have to taste each of them, so we used our own folks and took a bite from each cheesecake.
We were totally full and I had a stomachache because of eating too much.
But I was so happy to lied down in a beach and took a nap there on Monday, which we always work.
And we could take a shower as many times as we want, and had alcohol from daytime.
How nice it was!
Everyone went off to shopping, so I decided to take Lomi Lomi massage.
I went to Spa and took it for on hour.
I felt sooooo good.
And I went back to a shopping mall, and had dinner there.
I threw up at night by the way, not because of drinking too much, but I had upset stomach.
This happened last night too.
How come I can’t control how much I eat…
On the way back to hotel from the restaurant, we did some more shopping and went back to hotel at 11PM.
Most of stores in Hawaii open till 11PM.
From 11PM till 2AM now we stayed at one room and chat.
The guy who kept talking was hilarious.
Everyone was sleepy, but nobody could stop him.
It was like a trip that we had in high school days.
We have to go home tomorrow, but I don’t want to.
I don’t have confidence to go back to work from the next day we go back to Osaka.
Anyway, I should go to bed not to be late for tomorrow meeting in the morning.
Food and Movie
It was hard for me to get up this morning.
I had to because I had to do my laundry today and I was going to see Shinsuke.
I had Spa appointment at 1 PM so the only time I could see him was this morning.
So I had to leave my apt 10:30, but of course I was late.
I am really bad at being somewhere on time so I am always late, but the worse is that Shinsuke who never shows up on time, even today when I got there 30 mins late…
Anyway, we had lunch together and I went to Spa.
My got stiff shoulders.
After the Spa, I did some window-shopping and went back to my apt to hold my laundries.

Gratin! Lots of cheese.
Ahhh, too much fat.
After I did some tuff at my apt, I went to pick up my friend form college.
She just got married last May, and now she lives pretty close to me.
We sometimes get together and watch movies or just being lazy together.
Her husband is such a hard worker and he works on weekends too.
She was going to stay over at my apt, but since her husband has been sick, so she decided not to.
They had been together for 10 years, and their relationship was quite weird.
But now she cares about him like taking care of him when he is sick, so I am glad.
Anyway, I was surprised that he went to work on Saturday when he got fever and sick till midnight.
Compared to him, my work maybe nothing…
We had dinner together and she came over to my apt, and she just left.
We watched “Black Dalia”.
I did not get the movie.
It is too complicated, and it was not that interesting.
At the end, we discussed about the story, but both of us did not understand.
I rented two more movies, so I think I will watch one more or go to bed.
Good bye Ms. Yasuda
We had a farewell party for a girl who worked at our company for 7 years.
There are so many housewives working as a part time.
Since they have family, so it is hard for them to leave their family at home as a mother and a wife.
However, since everyone like Ms. Yasuda, so all of us at our apt stayed the party till midnight.
At the end of a party, we gave a present, and many of us cried so bad.
It is sad to see someone leave...
Nobody knows but I am leaving this department next month.
When I think abou it, I was little sad again.
I could catch the last train.
Headache again.
Had a good time at the party.
I am happy that I have lots of nice people around me!
My Destiny
I have schedules every single day till the end of this month.
I supposed to teach at my apt today, but he canceled today’s lesson because he is behind of his work for his examination at school.
I remember that I had a hard time before examination.
I miss those days.
But do I wanna go back to school?
I do, but I would hate exams for sure.
Anyway, because of his absence, I did not anything to do tonight.
So I was going to go home early, but my boss, who is a head of a department I will move next month told me to go out to eat.
So I went to eat with him by ourselves to talk about plans from next month.
After we talked about them, he asked me lots of questions.
“What are you going to do in the future?”
“Are you going to take over the business? Or are you going to open a business in the US? Or are you going to get married??”
I am sick of those questions.
I would say, “Why you care???”
He said, “Oh, by the way, I heard you broke up with your boyfriend.”
I was like, “Wha???”
Geeeee, people, you guys, will you please leave me alone?
I have learned that I can’t trust anybody at this place about secrets for this 2 and a half year.
When I started working here, I was really open-minded and told them many things about me.
However, recently, I have not told about my private life to my colleagues or bosses whom I like a lot.
It is sad, but maybe it is natural.
Everyone at this company is interested in m private life.
This does not mean that I am popular, but only because I am a daughter of the owner.
This is my destiny, I guess.

I am making an album for a girl who will leave this company next month.
I took 2 persons in a picture put in an album with a message card.
I was a pair with a guy who is the same position as mine.
Even he does not know that I am leaving this department.
Ahhh, I will miss this apartment so much…
Girls' Night
Good thing and bad thing happened today.
I took an operation today.
It was a laser operation for depilation for my important part.
I felt a sense of humiliation while I was taking this operation.
More than that, I could not understand why I had to be taken pictures of my important part of my body.
It was hurt, damn hurt!!!
I don’t want to take the operation anymore…
I felt really bad afterwards…
I went to buy some more lingerie today and made me feel better.
Today I took my girls out to an Italian French restaurant, which is close to m apt.
I tried to go there once before soon after I moved, but they only take an reservation guests.
It was a nice restaurant and they also sell flowers so I bought a bouquet for my apt.
These are girls whom I have being taking care of.
Two of them are my colleagues at my old work place.
One used to be my student and now she is working as my assistant at my work place.
We talked a lot and had such a good time.
After we ate, all of them came over to my apt to hang out.
I showed off all my lingerie which I bought recently.
It is fun to have a night for girl's talk.
Now we live in a different field, but we have lots of similarities.
Nice to have good company around me.
I will definately have a good week from tomorrow.
Can't take a bath tonight because of my stupid operation...
I will feel cold tonight...
Shopping Dependence
Today is the last day of my vacation.
It was such a quick vacation.
I had been really lazy whole 6 days.
Slept a lot!
At the same time, I spent so much money for shopping during this vacation.
I have to stop!!
I got up really early and went to outlet mall to get some stuff.
Afterwards, I had Takoyaki (Octopus Balls).
I had been eating fancy food lately, so I wanted to eat something casual.
This is really good Takoyaki place in Osaka, one of my favorite place.
I went to Spa afterwards, and at the department store, where my spa located, was on sale.
I don’t like shop during the sale season because of 2 reasons.
One is that I don’t like to be in a place with too many people.
The other is that during sale, I tend to buy stuff which I don’t need much.
As I thought, there were too many people and I got so much stuff which I didn’t need…
Well, but it was fun.
Also I got really good two pairs of shoes.
I wanted them so bad before, but could not find the right size.
But today I found the right size with lower price!
How lucky I was!
However, I think I have spent too much money lately, so I should save.
I started keeping track of my money, so I should be fine.
At night, Iwasaki san, who is my younger friend, came to visit me and went to noodle place.
We chat and stopped by at the convenience store to get some kinds of ice cream.
We hang out at my apt till late at night.
Now I got everything ready for tomorrow.
Tomorrow is my first day of work in 2008.
I have to be there 45 minutes earlier than usual.
I should go to bed now.
Apple Business Trip
Today I went to a business trip to Nagano to buy apples.
We left early in this morning by car.
I park my car in a garage which is a little bit far from my apt.
So I had to ride a bike to the garage.
This morning I got in an accident with another biker on the way to the garage.
I was in a hurry to pick my assistant up so I speeded too much when I turned the corner.
The other person did the same and we crushed from the front.
Luckily, it was not that bad accident, but I fell off and now my arm hurts...
Anyway, I went to visit a farmer who raise many kinds of fruits.
I visited him to buy apples to make apple pies last year too.
Our apple pies were sold pretty well, so we decided to sell them again this year on Internet.
I could ask him to just send apples, but I wanted to go visit him and talk with him since they are special apples for me.
He let us take apples from his apple trees, which was the first experience for me.
It was really really cold in Nagano, but I had a good time, and I was glad that I decided to get apples by ourselves.
My stomach still hurts, but I could refresh a lot by this getaway business trip in Nagano.
People might say this would be counted as a business trip.
But business is simply person to person thing.
It is very important to see people face to face, and in fact, he was happy to see us getting his important apples.
I think I keep working because I can feel good sometime like today.
