Eating Too Late
I slept over this morning.
Today was the day we had morning meeting, so I supposed to be there 30 minutes earlier than usual.
But I was late.
I can’t believer that I did that, although I am boss…
I felt so bad, but I came into office like I did nothing wrong.
I swear that I would never be late!!
Putting make-up in a car while I was driving this morning.
Ahhh, I should have not stayed up late last night…
Monday is the day I have work the most.
I was going to go to gym, but I could not make it since I left office at 9PM.
So I went out to eat and had rolled cabbage.
I used to cook rolled cabbage and I think I am good at cooking the recipe.
But their rolled cabbage was good too.
I learned putting cheese on a rolled cabbage is a good idea.
BTW, I have to stop eating at this late at night.
When should I go on a serious diet?
Finally They Got Married
Since last night, I have cleaned my room.
Yeah, my room was that messy.
When my room is messy, my life style is messy too.
I had been so lazy and that’s why I got so fat lately.
When my room is clean, I care about myself well.
After I cleaned my room, I went to a beauty salon.
And left for my friend’s wedding.
He is one year older than I, and we were YMCA leaders.
After I stop volunteering at YMCA, I started teaching English to him.
He had had Peter Pan Syndrome.
He used to talk to me a lot about what he wanted, and each time I talked with him seriously.
I had been so worried about him although I am younger than he.
I cared about him a lot, so every time he did stupid childish thing, I never be able to hate him.
Last time he came over to my apt was midnight, he brought a business plan and he said he wanted to open his own business.
To be honest, the business plan was not that good, and I thought he would not make it, but we fixed it till the next morning.
Now he did open his own business successfully, and he got married with a girl whom he have dated for a long time!
He is such a successful man!
There were so many friends from YMCA.
These are people whom I went to camps in winter and summer.
Since we are now having such a different lives, we don’t get together much, so it was like a reunion.
It was fun to see old friends. (These people in this picture were just some of them)
We went out to drink after the wedding to chat more.
It was such a small wedding at a restaurant.
They invited all their friends, and we sigh for them to agree with their marriage.
Groom made a bouquet with a flower we had and gave to the bride.
They did not exchange marriage ring, but they exchange presents in front of us.
Since their religions were different, so it was not an usual wedding which I have ever seen.
It was small but such a cute one.
The bride is pregnant, so they will have a kid soon.
Both of them looked really happy, and I am pretty sure that they will have a happy life together.
I feel really good to see my friend’s happy face!!
I love attending weddings!
Boring Meeting but Nice and Slow Saturday
Today was the once-a-month boring meeting.
Because my boss’s son entered high school today, so the meeting started from 1PM instead of from 9:30.
My assistant came to pick me up at my apt, and went to office at 11AM to prepare.
The good part of today’s meeting was that it was such a short meeting unusually.
1 o’clock to 6 o’clock.
5 hours meeting!
I know it is still long, but if I did not remind my boss about how long he had been talking, it would be much longer one, probably till 1AM tomorrow…
After the meeting, I went to eat my mom’s cooking.
It had been a while since the last time I ate at my parents’ house, I felt.
Today, I have time to relax by myself at my apt, so now I am cleaning my apt and doing some laundry.
Tomorrow I will attend my friend’s wedding again.
I still have not decided what to wear.
The dress or that dress??

Spring Has Come!
I went to visit a company which we are doing business together now.
They throw cherry blossom viewing party every year.
This was the first time for me to join this party.
I love the owner of the company.
He is my mom’s friend who was in the same tennis club as my mom’s.
He is 60 years old, but he is good shaped and such a gentleman.
Since the party was hold from 5:30PM, I could come home earlier than usual!
They invited about 200 people to their company, which has a beautiful cherry blossom trees.
They had a band, and lots of good food.
I ate and drunk with viewing cherry blossoms!
I love cherry blossom trees.
I grew up surrounded lots of cherry blossom trees.
In Japan, we start everything in April.
So when I entered elementary school, I was taken a picture with a new uniform in front of my house under lots of cheery blossoms.
Form April 1st, new employees comes to our company.
Lots of fresh faces.
Cherry blossoms made me feel really good, and made me feel very positive about many things.
People tell me that my face has been changed lately.
Some asked me, “Are you in love?”
Because love makes people look happier.
Humm, am I in love??
I always wanna be in LOVE!
Phone Calls
Two phone calls I received his morning on the way to my office.
One girl had been sick for three days, and she did not get well today again.
Everyone worked hard to cover for her last three days.
I was shocked when one more girl called me to leave for absence.
So when I got to office, I told everyone, “Change pinch to chance!!”
Taking care of yourself is so important as a business person.
I am weak so I easily get sick.
Actually, I felt a little cold in this afternoon, but if I get sick now, I would ruin everything.
So I took medicine immediately, and got recovered!
At late at night, I got a call from Mr. Sotomi.
He is a son of the owner of a chocolate company who went to Canada and the US on business with me before.
He moved to Osaka from Tokyo on April 1st.
He went to a famous café, which has a special roll cake, which is hard to get.
So he drove by to my office and dropped me a roll cake from the store!
It’s been a while since the last time I ate it.
I ate it at my apt soon after I got home.
Yammmmmmy!!
I think I will bring it tomorrow to my office and share with my colleagues.
Tomorrow will be a hard day for me.
I know I will be scolded by my boss who had been out of our office for three days.
Should I work on my paper work or should I go to bed?
Hummmm, I should sleep…
Being An Uncompleted Boss
Today, I was busy as usual, but I think I could work the most efficiently every today.
I finally understood how to work with many assistants.
When I was in the US, I talked with my ex boyfriend’s mom about my work.
She made me realize how inefficiently I work at my office.
I think I could not rely on my assistants, and I tried to do everything by myself.
When I was at the former department, I did all my work by myself, so I did not know how to trust other employees.
But she told me how to do that.
So I carried out soon after I came back from the US.
And it worked!
Now everyone feel that we are TEAM!
Since everyone helps me with my work, I can concentrate on the work which only I can do.
We discuss about many things now, which made them think a lot about their work, which leads them to like what they are doing.
Today, one of my assistants and I went to café instead of going to gym, since we got late for our pilates lesson.
Ah… I ate this banana float coffee at late at night.
How can I go on a diet…
At café, she told me that they were talking about me when I was not at my office.
She said they are talking how happy to have me as their boss. (Well maybe I should not write this kinda stuff by myself, though)
I was so so so so so happy to hear that!
I am not perfect at all, and I sometimes got depressed because I was not sure if what I was doing is right or not.
And I have felt that I have been supported by my assistants a lot recently.
I worried how they felt about it, so I felt I was so happy, honestly!!
The other happy thing today was my friend’s surprise visit.
My friend, Masaru was in Osaka on business for a day, and he came to visit me to my office.
He came to a restaurant close to my office and waited for me till I finished working.
After we ate at the restaurant, I toured my office for him.
Of course, at late at night, I could not show him much of it, but I showed him my new department.
It was kinda weird to have my friends at my office, but we always welcome people who want to see our company.
Unexpected visit surprised me and made me be happy today.
He might be in SF when I would be there next time, so I hope I can see him soon again!

Since I ate with him, I did not eat with her, but had banana float coffee only.
I was too full to taste her dish.
But it looked good, so I took a picture at least.
Bought a small condo in France
I was promoted today.
There was a ceremony and I received an official announcement this morning.
Now I am vice director of R&D department.
Everyone started calling me with a different name from today, “Ikada Jicho”.
I don’t like this name, because it sounds like a name for old man.
It maybe because not so many young women get this position but old men do.
Now I have so many responsibilities.
I have to take care of about 15 people below me.
My memory is not that good, so this is hard work for me to remember what I told to them, and what they supposed to do.
I have to be smarter.
Today we discussed about new items of our three different projects.
It is always fun to think what we want to make.
However, once we started thinking about details of the items, it becomes such a hard work, especially when we only got short time to think about it.
Today we started thinking about Christmas cake, which we have to do a presentation this coming June.
It would be Snoopy cake.
I am thinking to make cupcakes for Christmas, which would look like a picture above.
The donut on the picture above is called, “Sally”.
We have to make products which suit the image of Peanuts Character.
I went to Hula lesson tonight.
I will be on stage in May.
I practiced for the stage today.
Hula dance is a hobby, which give me energy.
By the way, the title of this entry is a lie.
Of course I am not rich enough to by a condo in France.
Today is “April Fool”.
I tried to lie today, but could not find a good lie.
So it is a boring lie, but I lied anyway for a day.
