My Sleeping Spot

Sleeping Under The Table

I suppose to go to work today, but could not figure out if the office was opened, I asked someone to send fax to my parent’s office and did my work at my parent’s house.
My mom just got home from Korea and caught a cold.
Seeing someone who has a cold made me sleepy.
So I took a nap with my dog, Darch.
We always sleep underneath of a dining table because there is a heater underneath of this carpet.
I feel so peaceful to sleepy by holding my little dog Darch.

Oh, here is an update about the lawyer I yelled at.
(I stopped writing bad words, by the way)
He called my landowner and asked them to make me call him.
I really did not feel like to calling him, but I did cuz I did not want to be rude.
He said he wanted to apologize.
He said,
“I wanted to say sorry again. I understand that you tried not to hit my car. And I also saw the note you left for the person who is the owner of the car you scratched. I felt guilty so badly. I will sincerely take my part of responsible.”
Wow…
I also apologized him about my attitude and told him my excuse that I was exhausted at that night.
I would not ask him anything more.
I think he was nice enough to tell me how he felt after the incident.
The only thing I concerned is that he asked my name.
Now he knows which apt I live.
It bothers me cuz I live by myself.
He was nice but at that night, I was totally a bitch…
Oh boy…

2nd Day in Gunma

Lots Going On in Gunma

We woke up early and Ayako drove me to palm reader.
I went to see a fortuneteller in July or August and had a really bad experience.
At that tie the fortuneteller yelled at me and told me what I did not want to hear.
However, when I think about it now, she was not that wrong.
Actually some of things she told me at that time really happened to me now.
Anyway, I was so afraid of going to see a palm reader, but she said he was good so I decided to go.
Actually he is a Buddhist priest.
He was not a strict one at all.
Some of the stuff he told me surprised me but interesting.
He wrote out lines on a hand and explained.
He could read my palm and see that I am wondering which of three ways I should go now, to keep working for my dad, changing job, or going to the US.
Of course he could not tell me what exactly I was wondering about, but he could see that I was wondering among three things.
See? The three lines on my hand. (One with a ring)
He explained everything and I understood everything.
What he told me actually encouraged me.
I don’t rely on him, and don’t believe in everything what he said, but keep what he said in mind would help me, I think.
He said that I am going to get married next year and will have 3 kids, 2 girls and 1 boy.
He was confident about it, so we’ll see, hahaha.

Ayako and I went to a department store and took a picture in heart.
I don’t know what it was but seems like it was a photo spot, so we took a picture.

On the way back to Ayako’s house, we had bread with Miso, which is bread famous for Gunma.
It was yummy!!
Also we had chocolate, almond and banana crape.
We ate too much.

And after we went back I had dinner with Ayako’s family again.
This is a picture which Ayako took.
Me with Boo.
I left Ayako’s at 10 in this evening and took a bullet train to Tokyo for tomorrow.
I have work in Tokyo tomorrow again.
Now I am in a business hotel washing TV.
What a nice weekend I had!
Ready to go to work tomorrow.

Expo in Tokyo and Fun in Gunma

Tokyo and Gunma Trip

I just got back from Tokyo to home yesterday morning, but I left home to Tokyo again early this morning.
It is just one-hour flight from Osaka to Tokyo, but still it is a lot of work for me.
I put all my stuff in a locker at the station in Tokyo.
Since I am not good at remembering which “coin locker” I used, I took a picture to remember where.

I had to help with exhibiting at food expo in Tokyo.
It was actually fun though.
It was hard to stand from 9:00 to 5:30 whole time, but I could talk with many people and fun to sell cakes I produced.
There were not many sales women or talkative girl who has strong Osaka accent, so I became pretty famous at the convention center.
This picture is one of products we exhibited at the expo.
Tarts for Quiche, very good stuff.

After this expo, I took a bullet train to Gunma to see my friend, Ayako.
She is one of my good friends whom I have known since I went to DU.
And this is “Boo”, a pug she has.
What a cute doggie.

Gunma is sort of countryside of Japan, so pretty different from Osaka or Tokyo.
People, landscape, food and culture are different, and it is a part I like to visit there.
Ayako’s family is so nice and warm.
They serve so much food at dinner whenever I visit.
Tonight, Ayako’s brother’s family, Ayako’s friends were there too.
9 of us had dinner all together and it was like a party.
Ah, I ate too much again till midnight.
Uhhhh bad for my health but it was such a nice night.

Snowy Snowy Day

All Day Meeting On A Snowy Day

Nothing much happened today.
I just got upset at the meeting because it was ridiculously long!!
I drove to my office today, and it started snowing when I left my apt.
I was really nervous driving on a snowing day without any snow tires.
Since the meeting was last for 10 hours like usual, I was getting annoying.
Like what a hell you guys wanna talk about for this long time!?

It was nothing to drive when it snowed in Denver when I lived there.
Now I miss Denver.
I wanna go back there sometime.
Denver was really cold but it was such a pretty town.
It was true that I thought Denver was such a boring town after I lived there for three years, but I guess I loved the town!
It is not normal to have this much snow in Osaka.
I had not seen this much snow since I was little.
I remember I made a big snowman in front of my house.

After a meeting at 7:30 PM, I drove back to my apt to pack my stuff and went to pick up my dog from my cousin’s.
He is a veterinarian and my dog was at his hospital for a night.
I went to pick her up and I am taking care of her since my mom and dad are not at home.
I will be able to sleep in tomorrow mooring with her next to me.
But this house is too big by myself and too cold here by myself…
Nothing much happened today, but I got such a relaxing night here.

Thinking of Tae's Grandma

Sad News

It was a normal day for me except a call from Tae.
I got call from Tae when I was working.
He suddenly called me and said he had to leave Japan tomorrow.
He was crying so bad over the phone so I knew something bad happened to him.
His grandma passed away today.
I had met her when I stayed his house back in Korea before for my summer vacation.
She was such a sweet grandma who was really nice to me.
She was in Japan when we did not treat well to Korean people long time ago.
So when she talked to me in Japanese and held my hand, I was so happy and I felt guilty about the time we had a war.
I thought she had such a big heart.
I hate myself that I could not find the right thing to say to him when he was crying.

Today was the last day for me to work at my department.
I will move to R&D department from tomorrow.
I felt a little sad when I was doing daily work at my office.
I am just gonna move to the next building, but it seems like a big deal to move there.

Tonight I had an appointment with my nail artist.
I got my nails really short for a lot of work waiting for me from tomorrow.
She has a tiny dog who sits on me all the time I was there.
She was such a cutie, and I got in love with her quickly.
I wish my dog were as friendly as she was so that more people would love her.
Look how she looked at me.
Can you believe that this was only the second time to see her?

Well, I am going to bed now with thinking of Tae’s grandma tonight.

I AM A Goofy Girl

Lazy Lazy Day

Since I went to bed 3 am last night, I slept in this morning.
I bought a new set of bed sheets and they are so comfortable, so I love being in a bed lately.
I woke up and I watched American drama series, “LOST” by my on-demand-TV.
As I can watch as many dramas as I want, I can’t stop watching them…
I totally forgot about an appointment, and I called it off only because I was lazy today.
However, I finally got out of my bed in the afternoon, and went to Spa.
I felt good, and I did not feel like cooking so I stopped by at my parents’ on the way back.
I am very spoiled, so I got to eat good stuff.
My dog was very excited to see me, so she made me really happy.
It is amazing that she knows that I was the one who took her to our house 7 or 8 years ago.
She loves my mom the best, and she knows that my dad is the chief of our house.
And she has special feeling to me, fortunately.

I had homework due to tomorrow for work, so I did with chatting by computer.
I got this website by youtube from my friend, and it cracked me up!!
http://jp.youtube.com/watch?v=XSq9v1zjcxQ&feature=user
It is stupid and hilarious.
But it might be a good idea to learn English for Japanese, maybe!
